Inventory Master Maintainer
Position Objective
Cooperative Resources International is seeking an Inventory Master Maintainer to accurately process and maintain the material master and process inventory transactions and reconcile the inventories to the balance sheet on a monthly basis. The successful individual will also prepare lead schedules for annual audits.
Major Areas of Responsibility
Enter and maintain the material master ensuring the proper set up for general ledger reporting
Process inventory field audits and termination audits; prepare lead schedules, and communications for management
Develop reports to monitor inventory levels, inventory usage, and inventory write-offs and adjustments. Identify key areas for improvement of internal controls
Perform monthly reconciliation of inventory accounts to the balance sheet
Research field and distribution inventory issues and develop solutions to better process information to avoid future issues
Qualification
An Associate's degree in Inventory Accounting or related field of study; or equivalent experience in accounting for inventory
Excellent computer skills and have strong problem solving skills
Ability to work in a team environment as well as possess effective communication skills
Willingness to develop and grow both personally and professionally
