Retail Sales Representative

This Retail Sales Representative position requires strong relationship building skills and a proven track record for making and closing sales. This position is also held accountable for being a single point of contact for new and long-term residential and business customers by handling billing, order entry, collections and repair issues for customers.

Attain/Exceed monthly revenue and unit quotas
Attain/Exceed monthly walk in traffic sales close rates
Attain/Exceed monthly TTL sales close rates
Processing service orders for new installation and subsequent order activity for residential and business customers
Receiving and adjusting payments and balancing your drawer
Interacting with customers face to face in a professional manner
Service all residential and business customers by marketing value-added products & services
Responsible for detailed knowledge of multiple product and service offerings
Support and proactively participate in promotion of company products, including after hour events
Outbound calling as required
Other retail and sales duties as required
Normal work hours: 8:15am - 5:15pm
Rarely expected to work overtime, holidays or weekends - Expect during special events
Hourly rate + Monthly Commissions
Travel Requirements: Less than 5% - Except for on-boarding training, which is lengthy and extensive and may be located out-of-State at the start of employment
Required Skills: Proven successful experience in sales environment where monthly quotas and goals were required. Ability to deal with customers patiently, tactfully and efficiently. Maintain a professional image and exercise good judgment. Must be comfortable handling large sums of money accurately and ethically. Must be able to follow a task through to completion even with frequent and lengthy interruptions. Must have ability to learn new skills and procedures. Must be able to work under pressure, handle stress and follow directions. Must have effective verbal and written communication skills. Special Skills required: strong organizational skills, strong computer skills, strong communication skills, benefit-selling skills Education, certification and/or license requirements: High School Diploma required; College degree preferred. Physical Requirements: Able to sit for extended periods; Perform all work tasks via phone and computer in an office setting

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
